treasure them..
I was on my way to sch this morning and I heard on the radio thru my mp3 player a story by a regretful girl abt her mum. How the family not being understanding towards the girl's mum that eventually led her to commit suicide. Her mum's (then) illness was some mental problems and the family encouraged her to see a psychiatrist (but to the patient, she was being forced?).
Yes... the daughter regretted that she bluntly rejected her mum's request to change her dad's decision abt sending her to a psychiatrist then. She regretted hating her mum bcos of her weird/out of mind behaviour due to her illness. She regretted not trying to communicate better with her mum... but... all was too late. It's of cos not her fault that her mum chose this path. Due to her illness, she made that decision.
However, this is a lesson for us all to be learnt. How important it is to treasure our parents when they are still around. To regret after everything ends is all too late.
